Stretch & Rest

Mobilising movement and releases to relieve tension and stress for pelvic, body and mental health

Do you ever feel like you need a good stretch? Maybe you'd like to feel you can move your body freely without pain or tightness? Possibly you're pregnant and feel like you need to make some space in your body?

Stretch & Rest is an online mobilising movement and stretch class to leave you in a state of calm and give you a feeling of space and length. It includes releases to relieve tension and stress for pelvic, body and mental health. This class is great for rebalancing the 'fight/flight' and 'rest/digest' nervous systems to positively impact on mental alertness and concentration, sleep, immunity, digestion and reduce pain, stress, tension and worry. It's for ALL women whether you want to feel more flexible, mobile and relaxed, to use as recovery between more intense workout days or if you specifically want to tackle a condition/issue related to back or pelvic pain.

Overtime, stress, worry and anxiety can settle in the pelvis and we often don't realise it's there. Being in a chronically stressed state can have long term implications on your health. Tension in the pelvis specifically can be associated with many issues such as pelvic pain, back pain,  bladder pain/urgency/incontinence, suppressed immune system, gut health and stubborn abdominal fat. Specific issues you may relate this to include menstrual pain, endometriosis pain, painful bladder syndrome/interstitial cystitis, IBS, constipation, sacroiliac pain, and symphysis pubis pain.

The live class usually takes place usually every Sunday 8.30-9.15pm (could be slightly different through holidays) so you can join me live before bed and/or you can complete the recording at a convenient time for you during the week.
